High quality laminate worktops available in wood, marble, stone and slate effect finishes.
Laminate worktops have some limitations but ours allow you to achieve the look of natural material without the maintenance that can be involved with solid wood or granite worktops.
Our laminate kitchen countertops have 17 different layers applied under high pressure. This is almost twice the number of layers that standard laminate worktops have, making them much more durable. They are also available in a deeper width than most laminate worktops meaning that you can minimise joints and wastage. We can get any shape you like manufactured and mitred directly in our Nobilia factory for a high quality finished fit.

Laminate worktops are much more heat resistant than they once where and will resist heat from boiling water and other fairly hot spillages. It's not advisable to position a hot pan on a laminated worktop because this may warp the surface.
The impervious finish of laminate worktops means that liquids won't be absorbed and can be conveniently wiped off. Laminate worktop surfaces are immune to most stains and with minimum attention will keep their consistent colouring without fading from tarnishing or sunbleaching for a long time.
The colours laminates are obtainable in are far more copious than other kitchen countertop materials. A solid colour can be selected if wanted, or if you desire the appearance of a wooden or natural granite worktop at a fraction of the cost, there's also a wide selection of simulated finishes. The timbre of these imitation laminate worktops has advanced greatly and often it's difficult to tell the difference simply by looking at it.
